Mike Boone (quad) to miss 4-6 weeks for the Broncos

Fantasy Impact:
Boone, 26-years old, will likely miss a portion of the start of the 2021 NFL season as the quad injury he suffered in practice is expected to keep him sidelined for four to six weeks. Luckily for Denver, Boone avoided surgery and given that he is currently third on the depth chard behind Melvin Gordon and Javonte Williams this shouldn't impact their rushing attack too much. Boone signed a two-year deal with Denver during free agency but has primarily been a backup since entering the NFL in 2018 with the Vikings. This won't have major fantasy implications as Boone wasn't expected to get significant playing time in 2021, unless there were injuries to both Gordon and Williams.
