Green Bay Packers rookie WR Amari Rodgers is reportedly going to be featured in a role that includes usage out of the backfield, per Matt Schneidman of The Athletic. (Matt Schneidman of The Athletic)

Fantasy Impact:

Rodgers was selected in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft out of Clemson and is reportedly impressing in training camp enough to earn a role within the Packers' offense in his rookie season. Rodgers broke out during his senior season in 2020, catching 77 passes for 1,020 yards and seven touchdowns, averaging 13.2 yards per reception. His strength, elusiveness, and speed have flashed at training camp and make him an exciting new component in an offense led by Aaron Rodgers. The rookie wideout also projects to be featured as a slot receiver and a punt returner but could lose reps to veteran wideout Randall Cobb.
