New York Jets rookie WR Elijah Moore (quad) will not practice with the team this week while recovering from a quadriceps injury and will attempt to return next week, per beat writer Connor Hughes. (Connor Hughes on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Moore's absence from practice will create more opportunities for Keelan Cole, Braxton Berrios, and perhaps Denzel Mims to establish reps with rookie quarterback Zach Wilson. The rookie wideout impressed during OTAs and training camp, but missing practice is valuable time that Moore cannot get back. Hopefully, the timeline for his return is accurate, and he can begin to earn reps and build chemistry with Wilson.
