Mark Andrews dealing with 'pretty serious cramping'

by Andersen Pickard | Ravens Correspondent | Thu, Aug 19th 6:53pm EDT

Ravens star tight end Mark Andrews required medical attention at the end of practice on Thursday. Head coach John Harbaugh told reporters that Andrews "has got some pretty serious cramping going on." (BaltimoreRavens.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Harbaugh added, "He's got to work through it. Humidity really shot up, and he's obviously working super hard. He's got to get that calmed down a little bit." The ambulance was called to practice for Andrews, who is a Type-1 diabetic, but he was not hospitalized. BaltimoreRavens.com beat writer Ryan Mink reported that "it was a humid day in Spartanburg, S.C., and the heat is worse on the field since it's in a bit of a bowl." All in all, it sounds like Andrews will be okay, but it's worth monitoring his status with more hot weather expected this week. The 25-year-old ranks fourth among tight ends in the latest expert consensus draft rankings.
