Mitchell Trubisky shines in preseason return to Chicago

by Avram Avramov | Bills Correspondent | Sat, Aug 21st 3:48pm EDT

Buffalo Bills QB Mitchell Trubisky had a successful return to Chicago, completing 20 of 28 passes for 221 yards and one touchdown in Saturday's game vs the Bears.

Fantasy Impact:

Trubisky played the entire first half for the Bills with Josh Allen sitting and looked comfortable in his return to Chicago versus his former team. The Bills were able to move the ball down the field with ease with Trubisky under center as they scored 34 first-half points. The most impressive part of Trubisky's day other than going 20 of 28 for 221 yards and one touchdown was how he avoided mistakes and spread out the football offensively. These are the type of performances Trubisky will need to give the Bills confidence they have a solid backup option at QB behind Josh Allen.
