Chicago Bears QB Justin Fields completed 9 of 19 passes for 80 yards along with four rushes for 46 yards in preseason loss to Bills.
Fields took over at QB for the Bears at the start of the second half when the team was already down by 28 points. While Fields had some ups and downs the rookie did provide a bit of a spark for the otherwise stagnant Chicago offense. Fields made some big plays with his feet but also took some big shots as the Chicago offensive line struggled as the game progressed. Even with room for improvement, Fields made enough plays and created enough opportunities to showcase his upside and maintain pressure on Andy Dalton in the Chicago QB room.
