Amari Rodgers goes for 32 yards in preseason loss

by Elvin Ryan | Sun, Aug 22nd 9:34pm EDT

Packers rookie WR Amari Rodgers had one rush attempt for two yards, four receptions for 31 yards and lost a yard on a punt return in Saturday's preseason loss to the Jets.

Fantasy Impact:

Rodgers did it all, rushing, receiving and returning punts. Expected to see a lot passing work from the backfield, the 2021 third-round draft pick showed he could line up anywhere. Rodgers had a senior year breakout at Clemson, catching 77 passes for 1,020 yards and seven touchdowns, averaging 13.2 yards per reception. His strength, elusiveness, and speed flashed at times Saturday averaging over five yards per touch. He's an exciting new weapon for Aaron Rodgers' arsenal.
