Marvin Jones Jr. (shoulder) questionable but expected to play Week 1

by Matthew MacKay | Wed, Aug 25th 5:10pm EDT

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Marvin Jones Jr. (shoulder) suffered an AC sprain in his shoulder and is questionable to play in the team's final preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys. Fortunately, Jones is expected to be full-go for Week 1 against the Houston Texans. (Mia O'Brien on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Jones signed a two-year, $12.5 million deal with the Jaguars this offseason as part of the team's effort to rebuild under new head coach Urban Meyer. Through two preseason games, Jones has emerged as the favorite target of No. 1 overall pick, quarterback Trevor Lawrence. With Lawrence officially announced as the Week 1 starter against the Texans, fantasy managers should take advantage of Jones' WR51 ADP, as he could yield a WR2 finish yet again in 2021.
