Cam Newton returns to Patriots practice on Thursday

Fantasy Impact:
Newton wound up missing five days due to a "misunderstanding" regarding COVID protocols. Some beat writers seem to think this has allowed Mac Jones to possibly usurp him as the team's starting quarterback. Belichick has yet to make a definitive statement, however. As of now we're still operating as if Newton will be the Week 1 starter.
