According to head coach Joe Judge, New York Giants rookie wide receiver, Kadarius Toney may play a significant role in Week 1 against the Denver Broncos. (Zack Rosenblatt on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Toney has looked good in practice this week and may be in line for increased snaps. Kenny Golladay may see a reduced snap count as he battles his way back from a hamstring injury, and Evan Engram missed Wednesday's practice with a calf injury. We should get more clarity on Toney's potential Week 1 upside following Friday's final injury report release, but this is something for deep league managers to act on immediately. The Giants hope that Toney will develop into a franchise cornerstone after selecting him in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, but the depth chart appeared to be standing in the way of an immediate impact. This is a situation to monitor for leagues of all sizes. Toney provides a unique element to the Giants offense and could become a favorite of Daniel Jones in short order.
