Jonnu Smith caught all five of his targets for 42 yards in New England's season opener against Miami.
Smith essentially played the same amount of snaps as Hunter Henry, as they each made their debuts as Patriots. Smith had the superior fantasy day, recording two more catches for 11 more yards than Henry. Smith did cough up the ball early in the second quarter, but was bailed out by center David Andrews. It's hard to imagine any pass-catcher in this offense becoming a strong fantasy asset, given how crowded the group is, but both TEs should be involved enough to be considered TE2s going forward. The Patriots have an easier matchup next week against the Jets.
