Ryan Fitzpatrick (hip) to miss 6-8 weeks

WFT QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, who is being placed on injured reserve today, is expected to miss 6-8 weeks with the hip injury he suffered in Week 1. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Taylor Heinicke is now the football team’s starting QB. An MRI confirmed that Fitzpatrick suffered a hip subluxation in Week 1 against the Chargers. The good news is that the injury isn’t season-ending. He'll miss at six to eight games while on IR. Taylor Heinicke will face the Giants on Thursday Night Football in Week 2. In the meantime, the concern turns to the fantasy production of Antonio Gibson and Terry McLaurin. That’s something we will watch closely Thursday night and into the coming weeks.
