D'Wayne Eskridge not expected to play in Week 2

by Anthony Cervino | Seahawks Correspondent | Sun, Sep 19th 5:28am EDT

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting Seahawks WR D'Wayne Eskridge (concussion) is not expected to play in Week 2. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Eskridge was a non-factor last week in the season opener. Now, he is not expected to be on the field for Sunday's matchup against the Titans. On a Seahawks team in which the spot of the No. 3 pass-catcher behind D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett is presumably wide open, Eskridge could be even farther down in the pecking order following this injury. However, this is terrific news for TE Gerald Everett, who could be the perfect fit for that role. The next wideout up is Freddie Swain.
