Green Bay Packers defense allows 17 points in Week 2 win over Detroit

by Matthew MacKay | Packers Correspondent | Tue, Sep 21st 9:41am EDT

The Green Bay Packers defense gave up 344 yards of total offense and two touchdowns during Monday's 35-17 Week 2 win over the Detroit Lions.

Fantasy Impact:

After an embarrassing performance against the New Orleans Saints in Week 1, the Packers defense forced an interception and held Jared Goff to 246 passing yards to coast to a divisional win in Week 2. While they improved, it's a D/ST that will travel to face Jimmy Garoppolo and the San Francisco 49ers in Week 3. Continue fading the Packers D/ST until they prove to be a consistent threat to opposing offenses.
