Deebo Samuel has five grabs for 52 yards

by Jon Mathisen | 49ers Correspondent | Mon, Sep 27th 2:04am EDT

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel caught 5-of-10 targets for 52 yards and no touchdowns in a 30-28 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact:

Samuel led the 49ers in targets but was only able to haul in half of them as he was pretty well covered by the Packers' defensive backs and Jimmy Garoppolo wasn't necessarily accurate. It wasn't a total dud of a game as he was still able to notch 52 yards. He and George Kittle should continue to be featured in the 49ers' passing game moving forward and have a plus matchup in Week Four against the Seahawks' porous secondary. Through three games, Samuel has hauled in 20-of-30 targets for 334 yards and one touchdown to go along with four carries for eight yards.
