Geno Smith nearly leads comeback Thursday

by Ari Koslow | Seahawks Correspondent | Fri, Oct 8th 12:00am EDT

Geno Smith completed 10-of-17 passes for 131 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the Seahawks 26-17 loss on Thursday against the Rams.

Fantasy Impact:

Smith entered the game early in the fourth quarter after Russell Wilson dislocated his finger and could not return. In his opening drive, Smith led a very impressive 98-yard drive for a touchdown to bring the Seahawks to within two points at the time. He then led another drive for a field goal before getting the ball back with just over two minutes left in a one possession game when he threw an interception on the first play of the drive. The reports on Wilson will have to be monitored next week as he will have 10 days of rest to try and get back out on the field. If he can't, Smith would definitley be worth a look in 2-QB and superflex leagues.
