The Wall Street Journal recently reported that Gruden used a racist trope in an email to describe NFLPA executive director DeMaurice Smith back in 2011. Since then, it was revealed that Gruden offended many others in his emails. He wound up lasting 3.5 years in his 10-year, $100 million coaching contract.
