"It's my decision. I get to say whether I play or not and that's just how it is," Mayfield told reporters on Tuesday. His left shoulder surgery reportedly isn't season-ending, but it remains to be seen how effective he'll be while playing through it. Case Keenum is the team's backup if Mayfield is forced to miss any time this year.
