Per Giants beat writer Pat Leonard, WR Kadarius Toney (ankle) missed Thursday practice for the Giants and is not expected to play on Sunday vs the Panthers. (Pat Leonard on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Unfortunately for Toney just as he was starting to get more involved in the New York offense he finds himself dealing with an ankle injury that is expected to keep him out of the Giant's Week 7 game vs the Panthers. Toney hasn't been placed on IR so seemingly the injury isn't too serious but during his absence look for Sterling Shepard to be heavily targeted on an offense that is dealing with a lot of other injuries. For fantasy purposes it will be tough to trust any other WR's on this offense.
