Coleman was a late addition to Friday's injury report with a hamstring injury. The 28-year-old most likely suffered the injury during Friday's practice after logging two full sessions the two straight days before. With Coleman out, Michael Carter and Ty Johnson will lead the Jets backfield in Week 7. Carter is a borderline RB2 against a Patriots defense that allows 110 rushing yards per game. The 22-year-old is currently 25th among all running backs in the latest FantasyPros expert consensus rankings. Coleman's next chance to return will be Week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
