Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports the Panthers are expected to activate CB Stephon Gilmore (quad) from the PUP list prior to Sunday's Week 8 game against the Falcons. (Jeremy Fowler on Twitter)

Carolina just wants to see how he handles Saturday's walkthrough. Gilmore's presence is a nice boost to the Panthers' defense moving forward.
