ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Jets rookie RB Michael Carter suffered a low-grade high ankle sprain that is expected to sideline him 2-3 weeks. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This isn't the news fantasy managers wanted to hear. Carter was trending towards a productive finish to his rookie campaign before this injury. In Week 11 against the Dolphins he rushed nine times for 63 yards before departing. It's unclear if the Jets will place him on IR. Ty Johnson and Tevin Coleman will see more work while Carter is sidelined.
