Dalvin Cook reportedly tore his labrum in Week 12, not season-ending

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports Vikings RB Dalvin Cook tore his labrum while dislocating his shoulder in Week 12. The injury isn't considered season-ending. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Rapoport notes that Cook missed the final two games of the 2019 season with a similar injury. He was able to return for the playoffs and rushed for 130 yards and two TDs against the Saints. It sounds as if Minnesota is hoping to rest him for a bit while still having him healthy for a potential playoff run this season. No official timetable has been given, but Alexander Mattison will be a borderline RB1 for games that Cook misses. A Week 13 date with the Lions is a plus matchup to start.
