Fantasy Impact:
McKinnon suffered a hamstring injury on the opening kickoff of Week 11. The Chiefs needed a roster spot for Kyle Long, and McKinnon, who appears to still be a few weeks away, was the logical choice to be sent to short-term injured reserve. Derrick Gore should be active on game days with McKinnon sidelined.
