Detroit Lions RB Jamaal Williams rushed 17 times for 71 yards while catching his only target for nine yards during Sunday's 29-27 win over the Vikings.
It was a bit of a disappointing game for the veteran RB. Williams managed to collect 17 carries and just one target in his first game without D'Andre Swift. He was hardly used as a receiver after seeing five targets in Swift's absence last week. However, the fact that Detroit surprisingly played with a two-score lead for parts of this game probably played a role in that development. The Lions get back to work next week against Denver where Williams likely slots in as a top-15 RB if Swift remains out.
