Ty Johnson disappoints in starting role in loss to New Orleans

by Robert Lorge | Bills Correspondent | Sun, Dec 12th 4:56pm EST

Ty Johnson received six carries and finished with 17 scoreless yards. He also commanded seven targets and caught four of them for 40 yards.

Fantasy Impact:

Despite Michael Carter and Tevin Coleman both being inactive, Johnson did not lead the Jets in rushing, which is quite telling in that the coaching staff views him almost exclusively as a receiving back. He was active in the passing game, finishing with the second-most targets on the team. Despite multiple injuries to some of the other running backs, Johnson has not been able to give fantasy managers a quality outing. He can safely be dropped to waivers.
