Justin Jefferson records 47 yards and a score in Week 15 win

by Shaan Hoda | Vikings Correspondent | Tue, Dec 21st 1:20am EST

Justin Jefferson hauled in 4-of-10 targets for 47 yards and a touchdown in Minnesota's victory versus Chicago.

Fantasy Impact:

Jefferson led the team with 10 targets, four receptions, and 47 receiving yards this week, as Kirk Cousins produced his worst performance of the year with 87 passing yards. The touchdown catch salvaged his fantasy night, though he registered only one reception in the second half. Despite the Vikings earning the win, this game should have served as a golden opportunity for the pass catchers, particularly Jefferson, to pile up yardage, considering that the entire Bears starting secondary was out due to COVID issues. Cousins and Jefferson haven't quite been on the same page in the last two weeks, as he's caught just 11-of-25 targets in that span. Regardless, the important takeaway is that he continues to be peppered with targets, keeping him in elite WR1 territory for next week against the Rams.
