Alexander Mattison goes for 70 total yards and a score in Week 16

Alexander Mattison rushed 13 times for 41 yards and a touchdown in Sunday afternoon's loss to the Rams. He additionally caught 3-of-4 targets for 29 yards.
Fantasy Impact:
Mattison was given an underwhelming 13 carries this week as he filled in for Dalvin Cook. In the last three games where he served as the bellcow, he recorded 26, 25, and 22 rushing attempts respectively. On the other hand, the Vikings were essentially playing from behind throughout the entire game, forcing the offense to attempt more throws. Nevertheless, the 70 total yards and rushing touchdown still allowed Mattison to finish with a solid fantasy day. Kene Nwangwu saw five carries and two targets, but mustered only 13 total yards. Mattison will continue to serve as an RB1 against the Packers next week if Dalvin Cook is unable to return to action.
