Dwayne Haskins has been notified that he will receive a restricted free agent tender. The expectation is that Haskins will receive an original-round tender, which would pay him in the range of $2.5 million. (Jeremy Fowler on Twitter)
This was expected, as the team indicated that Haskins would get a chance to compete for the starting job with veteran Ben Roethlisberger likely to retire following the 2021 season. Haskins, the former first-round pick, apparently has done enough to warrant consideration in Pittsburgh. Given the lack of inspiring alternatives, Haskins is an interesting Superflex dynasty stash as things play out in Pittsburgh.
