Chicago Bears hire Ryan Poles as their GM

The Chicago Bears have hired former Kansas City Chiefs executive Ryan Poles as their next general manager. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Poles has received significant interest over the past two seasons from other teams for the role of GM. The 36-year-old previously held the position of executive director of player personnel for the Chiefs. It will be interesting to see if he keeps the KC connection with his coaching staff hires. At this time, that doesn't appear to be the case for the head coach position, at least, as the three finalists are reportedly Dan Quinn, Matt Eberflus, and Jim Caldwell.
