Los Angeles Rams hire Liam Coen as OC

Fresh off a Super Bowl victory, the Rams made a coaching addition this weekend, poaching Kentucky offensive coordinator Liam Coen to fill the same role in Los Angeles. (Albert Breer on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Coen will replace Kevin O'Connell, who departed the Rams to join the Minnesota Vikings as their offensive coordinator. Coen spent just one year with Kentucky but made his presence felt right away, leading the Wildcats' offense to key improvements in 2021. When all was said and done, the unit boasted 32 points, 200 rushing yards, and 226 passing yards per game. Now, he'll join a star-studded Rams offense headlined by the likes of Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods, Van Jefferson, Cam Akers, and others. Los Angeles will have plenty of fantasy relevant weapons on its roster next season, and Kupp is the early favorite to be the first receiver off the board in fantasy drafts.
