Matt Nagy re-joins Chiefs coaching staff

Fantasy Impact:

It was announced earlier this week that Eric Bieniemy would be returning on a one-year deal as the offensive coordinator for the Chiefs, and former QB coach, Mike Kafka, left KC for the Giants OC job. Nagy, who was fired after four seasons in Chacago, will now work with Patrick Mahomes as the Chiefs QBs coach. The Chiefs finished the season sixth in points and fifth in total yardage in 2017, when Nagy was the team's OC. It is also worth noting that the Chiefs committed the leagues fewest offensive turnovers in 2017, the only category in which Patrick Mahomes has seen significant recent regression, so this hiring may have an especially positive effect, in that regard.
