Derek Carr: 'No absolutes' on QB's status, per beat writer

Fantasy Impact:
Last month, Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels said that Carr would "absolutely" be the team's Week 1 starter. However, general manager Dave Ziegler was less confident, and this new report from Tafur echoes Ziegler's uncertainty. At this point, the most likely outcome is that Carr stays with Las Vegas, but there's definitely a nonzero chance that he's moved. Regardless of where Carr ends up, he should be viewed as a high-end QB2 in redraft formats. He has continuously proven that he can be a reliable fantasy option, offering a steady floor week in and week out.
