Mike Williams, Chargers reach deal before deadline

Mike Williams and the Chargers managed to agree on a long-term deal before today’s franchise tag deadline. The deal will pay $60 million over three years including $28 million in year one and $40 million guaranteed in total. (Adam Schefter on Twitter )

This is great news for the Chargers and Williams. They get one of their top playmakers back and he will get the opportunity to continue growing and playing with Justin Herbert. Mike Williams will get a chance to build further on his best season to date.
