JuJu Smith-Schuster: Eagles and Jaguars reportedly dark horse teams

by Dan Harris | Patriots Correspondent | Sun, Mar 13th 9:48pm EDT

The Eagles and Jaguars are reportedly dark horse teams for JuJu Smith-Schuster, according to Jordan Schultz. (Jordan Schultz on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Schultz added that the Jaguars believe Smith-Schuster can be a potential No. 1 target for Trevor Lawrence, while the Eagles view him as a long-term complement to DeVonta Smith. After signing a one-year deal to return to the Steelers, Smith-Schuster underwent shoulder surgery last year after five games, but surprisingly returned for Pittsburgh's playoff game against Kansas City. His five catches in that game aside, his return put aside any question marks about his health at the very least. Smith-Schuster has failed to replicate the success of his 2018 season, during which he had 111 receptions for 1,426 yards, but he's still just 25 years old and has plenty of potential. A landing spot with Jacksonville would be preferable to Philadelphia, though fantasy managers in dynasty leagues shouldn't make any moves until Smith-Schuster's contract and destination are known.
