Fantasy Impact:

Phillips' release came just moments after the new league year began. He had a $13.3 million cap hit for 2022, though Arizona can recoup the majority of that if they designate his release as the post-June 1 variety. Phillips has spent seven years in Arizona since they drafted him in the second round of the 2015 draft. This past season, he appeared in nine games, racking up 22 tackles and three sacks. He should generate some interest on the open market as a veteran depth piece.
