Rookie Julian Wilson placed on IR (injured reserve)

The Baltimore Ravens have placed rookie cornerback Julian Wilson on IR (injured reserve) last week due to a broken leg he suffered during minicamp and he is out for the season. According to Aaron Wilson of The Baltimore Sun, he will being having surgery to repair his injury. (Baltimore Sun)
Fantasy Impact:
Wilson was a much sought-after cornerback that had interests from the Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Falcons, Kansas City Chiefs and the Seattle Seahawks. He finished his college career with 39 tackles and one interception before an injury he suffered in college. The Ravens can never have too many cornerbacks. With his speed and size, he would complement the secondary nicely if he can remain healthy.
