ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that former Ole Miss QB Matt Corral is scheduled to visit with the Panthers, Eagles, Steelers, Saints, and Falcons next week. (Adam Schefter, ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

Corral, who’s projected to be drafted somewhere between the mid-1st to mid-2nd round in the 2022 NFL draft later this month, thrived in Lane Kiffin’s RPO offense at Ole Miss. Evaluators point to Corral’s athleticism, quick release, strong arm, success with rhythm concepts, and accuracy as reasons for optimism that he can be successful at the next level. However, Corral is slightly undersized, has already dealt with injuries at the collegiate level, hasn’t demonstrated the ability to make touch throws consistently, and struggles to read defenses past his first read. Corral’s a unique player in that he has many tools that coaches would love to try and shape and mold, but he has red flags that may cause teams to hesitate and not want to invest high draft capital in him. It only takes one team to fall in love with Corral for him to get a crack at a starting QB job, and the Panthers, Eagles, Steelers, Saints, and Falcons all have long-term unanswered questions at the QB position.
