While speaking with reporters Tuesday, Travis Etienne stated that he is 85-90% recovered from the Lisfranc injury (foot) that kept him sidelined for the entire 2021 season and he expects to be fully cleared by training camp. (ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

Etienne’s rookie season was derailed before it started when he suffered a Lisfranc injury to his left foot during a preseason game against the New Orleans Saints. Almost a year later, Etienne appears to be on track to make his much anticipated NFL debut in 2022. While at Clemson, Etienne was one of the most explosive players in all of college football and displayed excellent receiving skills for a running back, traits that fantasy managers salivate over. Heading into the 2021 season, Etienne was expected to share time with undrafted phenom James Robinson. Robinson tore his achilles late in the 2021 season and he is in jeopardy of missing early season games in 2022, opening up the door for Etienne make his case to be the primary ball carrier in Jacksonville when both backs are fully healthy.
