The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have selected RB Rachaad White with the No. 91 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
White, who’s one of the best receiving backs in the draft class, is a creative rusher who is dangerous when given space to work with. White has a tendency to bounce runs to the outside prematurely and he avoids running between the tackles when possible, but his quick acceleration allowed him to get away with it most of the time at the collegiate level. White projects to be a 3rd down specialist in the NFL with the potential to grow into an every down running back if he becomes more disciplined and refined as a rusher. If White can prove to be a capable pass blocker for Tom Brady, he will likely get playing time on 3rd downs and will spell starting RB Leonard Fournette.
