Allen Lazard signs restricted free agent tender

Allen Lazard has signed a restricted free agent tender with the Green Bay Packers according to Pro Football Talk. (Pro Football Talk on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
The tender Lazard signed is valued at $3.986 million for the 2022 season. If Lazard had failed to sign prior to June 15, it would have given Green Bay the ability to reduce the tender to $940,000. That possible $3 million loss was enough for Lazard to give in and sign, given Green Bay had all of the negotiating leverage outside of Lazard’s assumed position as the Packers’ WR1. Lazard figures to see a ton of targets this season with the departure of Aaron Rodgers’ favorite target Davante Adams.
