Jalen Ramsey has shoulder surgery

Los Angeles Rams CB Jalen Ramsey underwent surgery on his shoulder after playing all of last season with a tear in each shoulder, according to Ian Rapoport. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Ramsey has been one of the league's premier cornerbacks for half a decade and had successful surgery to repair both his shoulders. Despite playing with tears in both shoulders, Ramsey tied a career high in interceptions with four and set career highs with 77 total tackles and nine tackles for loss with the Los Angeles Rams. He was also named to his third Associated Press All-Pro team. The Rams defense finished second in the league with 17 touchdowns allowed and third with 19 interceptions. At full health, Ramsey will continue to bolster a strong Rams defense.
