Jamison Crowder impressing while competing for slot receiver job

by Andersen Pickard | Commanders Correspondent | Mon, Jun 27th 8:17am EDT

Bills wide receiver Jamison Crowder has impressed as he competes for the slot receiver role in Buffalo's offense, according to Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN. (ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

Although Isaiah McKenzie may have been the top candidate to replace Cole Beasley in the slot, Crowder has certainly made a name for himself since his rough departure from the Jets. Over three years in New York, he caught 188 passes for 1,979 yards and 14 touchdowns. Although his production has declined over each of those three campaigns, perhaps he'll reverse course and provide steady fantasy value while catching passes from Josh Allen (rather than the inconsistent carousel of quarterbacks with the Jets).
