Terry McLaurin to sign three-year extension with Commanders

by Leo Sells | Commanders Correspondent | Tue, Jun 28th 3:09pm EDT

According to a report from ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, the Washington Commanders and WR Terry McLaurin have agreed to a three-year contract extension worth up to $71 million in new money. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Star wide receivers are one of the most sought-after commodities in all of football, and the Commanders are making sure to lock in McLaurin for the foreseeable future. He is one of the lone bright spots on their offense, and he will likely continue to see high usage, which is good for his fantasy value. In 2021, McLaurin played in all 17 games, catching 77 of his 130 targets for 1,053 yards and five touchdowns. In 2022, he will have yet another new QB with whom he'll have to develop chemistry after Washington acquired Carson Wentz earlier this offseason.
