Marcus Peters has chance to play in season opener

by Andersen Pickard | Thu, Jun 30th 10:13pm EDT

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marcus Peters (torn ACL) has a chance to play in the team's Week 1 contest, according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic. As long as he continues to make progress and stays healthy, Peters will be on the field for the season opener. (The Athletic)

Fantasy Impact:

Peters tore his ACL last September, marking the first time he has suffered a major injury in his career. The talented cornerback hasn't played since 2020, when he tallied 52 tackles, four interceptions, two forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, and one sack through 14 games. His return would be monumental for the Baltimore secondary and defense as a whole.
