Sammy Watkins added to non-football injury list

Fantasy Impact:
Expectations for the Packers pass-catchers are all over the place, but as training camp begins, Watkins, as well as TE Robert Tonyan and rookie WR Christian Watson, all carry injury designations. According to packers.com reporter Wes Hodkiewicz, Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst says Watkins' status is a "very short-term thing." The former No. 4 pick is joining his fifth team in his last seven seasons and has not been a strong fantasy option outside of his rookie and sophomore seasons in 2014 and 2015. With a QB who prioritizes familiarity like Aaron Rodgers, Watkins probably won't hold much fantasy value in 2022.
