According to Ryan Wood, David Bakhtiari disclosed a procedure he had before OTAs, his third since his ACL injury in 2020, expressing optimism in his status and saying he feels "normal." (Ryan Wood on Twitter)
Bakhtiari is a three-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro team member, but his last couple of seasons have been tainted by injury. Last season, Baktiari started on the PUP list and missed six games — a rule that has since been changed to four — and was declared inactive for every game except Week 18. He ended up missing the postseason with the same injury and has been placed back on the PUP this offseason as he continues to rehab before hopefully rejoining the team in 2022. Bakhtiari is an invaluable piece to the Packers' offensive line and would be an important player for the Packers to have this season.
