Marquise Brown placed on NFI list but expected back soon

The Cardinals placed Marquise Brown on the non-football injury list on Tuesday with a hamstring injury but Kliff Kingsbury said on Wednesday that he expects him to return soon. (Bo Brack on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Specifically, Kingsbury described Brown's injury as a hamstring "tweak," so it indeed sounds like nothing to worry about. Arizona desperately needs a healthy Brown after losing Christian Kirk in free agency and needing to replace DeAndre Hopkins for the first six games because of a suspension. Brown, who had 91 catches for 1,008 yards and six touchdowns last season, should see plenty of targets if he he's healthy, particularly in the early part of the season, but it's imperative that he start getting in work with Kyler Murray as soon as possible. Thankfully, it sounds like that will be the case.
