Greg Dulcich on track to return from hamstring

by Jordan Epp | Broncos Correspondent | Sun, Jul 31st 8:55pm EDT

Rookie TE Greg Dulcich, who missed two weeks of offseason training with a hamstring injury, is slowly being worked back into practice, according to Aric DiLalla of denverbroncos.com. Head coach of the Denver Broncos Nathaniel Hackett says they are trying to play it slow and "do it the right way." (Aric DiLalla, denverbroncos.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Dulcich was drafted in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Broncos after the team shipped off TE Noah Fant as a part of the trade for QB Russell Wilson. Dulcich was getting first-team reps with the Broncos early in camp before suffering his injury, going from the fast track to behind the 8-ball. The team is easing him in slowly, whether that's stretching with the team or working on a side field, but are trying to get him back to practice. Even though he's only going on average as the TE35 in PPR formats, according to FantasyPros, Dulcich has a legitimate chance to start this season, or at least get good playing time, even with TE Albert Okwuegbunam on the team, TE19.
