Fantasy Impact:
Brown was initially planning on holding out to get a new contract from the team, but he doesn't want to miss important padded practices and will play on the franchise tag for now. It's unclear if he and the team are close on an extension, but if they aren't, that may breed more drama next off-season. For now, however, this is great news for Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense as a whole, who will need to be at the top of their game in a loaded AFC West.
